Right: THE COFFEE SPOT. Church Street. "Home cooked food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner... Phone 591 Larry & Ann Bartel." The building is still there.

"The Old Brick Meeting House." This Quaker meeting house and it is still there. On the right is a card of the building mailed in 1948 showing "Old Hicksite Quaker Church, built 1772, 150th Establishment Meeting, Millbrook, N. Y." An enlargement of the people is here.

Left: "Memorial School School, Millbrook, N.Y." about 1906. Right: a view from a different side - mailed in 1914.

Left: "Entrance to the Bennett School, Millbrook, N.Y." Right: another view of Halcyon Hall at the Bennett School. Built in 1890 as a resort, it was later a finishing school for girls, and then a college until 1977. Two sites have pictures here, and here of the ruins.

On the back it says, "The Bennett School for Girls, Millbrook, Dutchess County, N. Y. Picture--A Four-in-Hand from the Bennett Stables." Mailed in 1908, part of the message says, "...remember the pictures that were sent home of the school, well they are all on post cards now..."
