Member of Black Hawk Tribe No. 485; I.O.R.M [Improved Order Of Red Men]; Collector of Wampum. Went by the name J. John Pieroth.

"THERESA PIEROTH died Wednesday [August 1, 1928] at her home, 140-42 New York boulevard, Jamaica Junction, in her fiftieth year. She is survived by her husband, John; a son, Gabriel; a grandchild, a sister and a brother. The funeral will be held from her late home to-morrow at 8:30 A.M. Requiem mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalen R.C. Church, Springfield. Interment will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery under direction of George WERST, 572 Hart street." Buried August 4, 1928.
